HI!
Welcome to Room 4's blog for 2012!
You are in the right place if you want to hear about Sofia, Cassey, Lily, George, Angelina, Lehlani, Abbey, Faith, Brandon, Anna, Regan, Billy, Owen, Erika, Matthew, Joseph, Anthony, Riley, Luana, Meg, Madia, Lauchie, Jacob, Tessa, Jakson, Jason and Kevin!
We are really excited because we have a new girl in our class called Riley! Riley is an Irish name. Her last name is a Scottish name. She's really cool and we're lucky to have her in Room 4.
We have had a week and a half at school so far. We have been doing art, maths, writing and lots of tests!! We did little chunks of our spelling test on different days so we wouldn't get tired. We have to make sure we are fitting in lots of sunshine and fresh air.
We would love for people to come and visit our class. You can learn about all the people in Room 4 because we have made an "All About Us" wall that tells you what we're interested in, who is in our families, where we come from and what is important to us. Today Cassey brought in her big cuddly monkey called Monkey to show us all. Tessa made a wonderful poster with flags on it all by herself. Brandon and Jason brought in identical South African flags. Anna told us about how she is Australian and her favourite animal is the kangaroo. Riley showed us her family tartan and Jacob introduced us to his scouting family. Owen told us about his family's Friday movie nights WITH POPCORN!! Lily showed us her ballet shoes and brought in some beautiful photos of when she was having a ballet exam. Her hair looked amazing! Luana showed us a certificate she won for getting 3rd place in a New Year's Eve talent quest. That reminded us of how Troy and Gabriella met in High School Musical! Lauchie made an awesome poster all about his family. Angelina brought in a beautiful Assyrian dancing scarf. Sofia made a collage of SO many different photos and Abbey showed us her amazing Irish dancing skills! WOW!!!
We have so much fun at school.
